With 29.99 sale amount, the 13.6% example rate, and a 0.40 order fee, the formula gives 4.47864 in fees. The tool displays 4.48 total fees and 25.51 net proceeds after rounding.

Final value fee equals sale amount multiplied by percentage divided by 100, plus the fixed order fee. Net proceeds equal the entered sale amount minus that calculated fee.

eBay says fees depend on category, sale total, listing setup, Store status, and seller performance. Use the current rate and order fee shown for your account; Reset restores 13.6% and 0.40 only as US examples.

The model does not implement tiered rates or separately add shipping, handling, tax, insertion, upgrades, international, advertising, dispute, or performance fees. Include the correct fee basis in sale amount and verify official terms.

Net proceeds subtract only the modeled final value fee and are not profit; product, fulfillment, return, and operating costs remain. Rates can change. Calculations run locally and entered amounts are not uploaded.
