How to use it

Worked example
At the editable defaults of 29.99, 2.9%, and 0.30, the fee is 29.99 × 0.029 + 0.30 = 1.16971, displayed as 1.17. Estimated net proceeds are 28.82.
Formula used
Processing fee equals sale amount multiplied by percentage divided by 100, plus the flat fee. Net proceeds equal the entered sale amount minus that processing fee.
Choosing the inputs
Use the current rate for your Shopify plan, country, payment provider, transaction channel, and card type. Reset restores 2.9% plus 0.30 only as a configurable example, not a universal rate.
Limitations
The model excludes subscription cost, third-party provider surcharges, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion, international or premium-card rates, shipping, product cost, apps, and discounts.
