11 working days

What this calculator does

Counts the working days between a start and end date, excluding weekends by default and optionally skipping any holiday dates you list.

How to use it

Pick a start date and an end date, then optionally list holiday dates to exclude (one per line or comma-separated, in YYYY-MM-DD format). The working-day count updates immediately.

Worked example

From Monday 2026-09-21 to Friday 2026-10-02 there are 10 weekdays (both weekends in between are excluded). Adding 2026-09-28 as a holiday reduces the count to 9 working days.

Holidays

Any date you list as a holiday is subtracted from the working-day count only if it falls on what would otherwise be a counted weekday — a holiday that falls on a weekend has no effect, since that day wasn't counted anyway.

Which date is earlier

It doesn't matter which date you enter first — the calculator automatically works out the range regardless of the order you type the start and end dates in.

Limitations

The weekend definition is fixed to Saturday and Sunday and can't be changed for regions using a different weekend, and holiday dates must be entered manually rather than looked up automatically for any country.

Privacy

The calculation runs locally in your browser; the dates you enter are not uploaded.
