Superscript Text Generator

Transform regular text with the Superscript Text Generator using copyable Unicode characters for profiles, posts and messages.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server.

What this generator does

Replace mapped ASCII uppercase and lowercase letters, digits, and the operators `+ - = ( )` with copyable Unicode superscript or modifier characters. Thus `x2+1` becomes `ˣ²⁺¹`; spaces, punctuation outside the table, accents, emoji, and unsupported scripts remain unchanged. The output assembles characters from several Unicode blocks and is not semantic equation markup, HTML ``, or a font-size change. Height, spacing, search, accessibility, and app support can therefore vary, especially for uncommon letter forms. Conversion runs locally and another style can be chosen before copying.

How to use it

Type or paste text into the Superscript Text Generator box; the result appears instantly and a copy button sends it straight to your clipboard.

Compatibility

The result is plain Unicode text, so its shape depends on the destination's font — most current apps render it fine, but very old software can show empty boxes.

Before posting

Some platforms count these characters differently toward length limits than plain ASCII, and a few spam filters flag unusual Unicode more readily — preview the result first.

Safe review

Read the output before publishing it and keep the plain original text handy in case a platform strips or mis-renders the styled version.

Other styles

If Superscript Text Generator isn't quite the look you want, this collection also has the Small Caps Text Generator and Subscript Text Generator for the same input.

Privacy

Every conversion happens locally in your browser; the text you type is never uploaded, logged, or stored by this tool.
