What this tool does
Adds the classic top-and-bottom caption style to any image you upload — bold white text with a black outline, auto-sized to fit — and lets you download the result as a PNG.
How to use it
Upload an image, type your top and bottom text, and the preview updates as you type. Toggle "ALL CAPS" off if you'd rather keep your original capitalization.
Worked example
Upload any photo, type a short punchy top line and a payoff on the bottom line — the tool automatically shrinks the font size and wraps onto a second line if your caption is too long to fit at full size.
Text sizing
The tool starts at the largest font size that could fit your image's width, then reduces it step by step — wrapping onto extra lines first, and only shrinking further if the text still doesn't fit within a few lines — so long captions stay readable instead of overflowing the image.
Font choice
Captions render in Impact (falling back to a similar bold condensed font if Impact isn't installed) — the typeface that's been the de facto meme-caption standard since the format's early internet days.
Important limitations
This is a captioning tool, not a meme-template library or search engine — you supply your own image, and there's no built-in collection of popular meme templates to browse or search.

- Can I turn off the automatic uppercase styling?
