Image Tools

Compress, convert and edit images — all in your browser.

What this category covers

Browser-based image editing and conversion: compress, resize, crop, and convert between JPG, PNG and WebP, plus metadata inspection and social-media-specific resizing presets. No file ever leaves your device — all processing happens locally.

How to choose the right tool

For reducing file size without changing dimensions, use the Image Compressor; for changing dimensions, use the Image Resizer or Image Cropper. Format conversion has a dedicated tool for each direction — JPG to PNG Converter, PNG to WebP Converter, WebP to JPG Converter and so on — rather than one generic converter, so you always land on the exact pair you need. Publishing tools need the right dimensions: Social Media Image Resizer and Profile Picture Resizer target common platform presets, while Favicon Generator produces the small icon sizes browsers expect. Image Metadata Viewer and Image Dimension Checker are for inspection only — they don't modify the file.

Common use cases

A blogger compresses a photo before uploading it to keep page load times fast; a developer converts a batch of PNGs to WebP for better compression; a social media manager resizes a photo to fit Instagram's post dimensions; a site owner generates a favicon from their logo.
